  • 2000: Taktur is born as an offspring from the Icelandic first class stallion all time Orri frá Ţúfu and Kórina frá Tjarnarlandi, one of the highest judged fourgait mares of Iceland. She received 8,61 for riding abilities, with 9,5 for tölt and willingness and 9,3 for trot.

  • 2005: The new owner of Taktur is Ingólfur Jónsson, he is the father of the famous and succesfull Icelandic competition rider Víđar Ingólfsson, Víđar will train Taktur from now on.

  • 2006: On the Landsmót Taktur ended on the 9th place in B-Flokkur (4 gait competition) Gaedinga, as he was nearly six years old. He also won the Ice Tölt competition in the east of Iceland.

  • 2007: In this year Taktur wins three big competitions and this always by far. He was the winner of the stallion competition "The best of the best" on Ice with a total score of 8,91!. He won B-flokkur on Hvitasunnacompetition at the biggest horse riding club in Iceland (Fákur), with a total score of 8,82. And if this wasn't enough, he took the first place at B-flokkur on the Fjórdungsmót with a total score of 8,88!.

  • 2008: Again he won the stallion competition "The best of the Best". He took part at the Icelandic Championships, where he received a total score of 7,43 in the Töltcontest (T1). In mai, Taktur was a last time shown at a breeding show and received for riding abillities a total score of 8,51 for a 4 gaited horse, he received 9,5 for tölt and trot, and 9,0 for canter, willingness and form under the rider. End of december the Icelandic future of Taktur changes, he is sold to the Benelux.

  • 2009: Taktur arrives in Liege (Belgium), he stays at Spee-Horses.com, the company of Erik Spee. A few days later he will participate on Horses On Ice – with Siggi Matt riding him. They end as vice champion V1 (7,78) and end on the fifth place in T1 (7,23 ).
    During the summer time he serves around 30 mares and all off them are pregnant! In October they investigate Taktur's sperm for artificial insemination. And the result was very positive. Sperm is frosen to be used for artificial insemination in 2010. At the end of 2009, Family Rottiers become co-owner of Taktur and by that he will stay in Belgium and will participate at competitions in 2010.
